This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on wordper.com, operated by Wordper (wordper.com), why they are used and how you can manage your choices. For general information on how personal data is processed, see the Privacy Notice (KVKK) and the Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used, for example, to keep you signed in, remember your language or measure how the site is used.

2. Consent and managing your choices

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work and do not depend on your consent. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you allow them. On your first visit you can choose “Accept all”, “Reject” or “Settings” in the banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Rejecting does not prevent you from using the core features of the site.

  • wordper_vid — A random browser ID used to count visitors currently online. Only a hashed value is used on the server and it is not shared with third parties. 1 year.
  • wp_claps, wp_clap_vid — Prevents the same person from repeatedly voting with the applause feature on leaderboards. 1 year.

  • _ga, _ga_<id> — Google Analytics. Measures page visits statistically. Up to 2 years. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC.

Advertising cookies (with your consent)

  • __gads, __gpi, __eoi, IDE and similar — Google AdSense. Used for ad delivery, frequency capping and interest-based (personalised) ads. Up to 13 months. Provider: Google.

If you do not allow advertising cookies you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised and Google will not store advertising cookies.

4. How Google uses data

Google Analytics and Google AdSense operate under Google’s own policies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and how Google uses cookies. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings and disable Google Analytics with the browser add-on.

When these services are used, data may be transferred to servers abroad. This transfer is based on the consent you give in the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Browser settings

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, features such as login and live sessions may not work.
