About Us

A clear overview of Wordper’s purpose, audience, and tools.

Wordper (wordper.com) is an online platform designed to help students, teachers, and individual learners improve keyboard skills in a measurable, engaging, and education-focused way. Our name is inspired by Words Per Minute (WPM), a standard indicator of typing performance.

Our mission

We aim to turn typing practice into more than a quick speed test: a natural part of learning. Teachers should be able to run classroom work with their own word lists, students should progress in individual or live sessions, and everyone should see clear results.

What we offer

  • Individual practice: word or paragraph modes with WPM and accuracy feedback.
  • Classroom / teacher mode: create exercises, add words, start live sessions, track results.
  • Live competitions: real-time practice on the same word set.
  • Friend races: create a room with a code and race friends.
  • Keyboard games: strengthen reflexes and motivation.
  • Guide blog: long-form articles on touch typing, WPM, accuracy, ergonomics, and classroom practice.

Education-first approach

Many typing sites only provide fixed word pools. On Wordper, teachers can control content so practice aligns with lessons, units, or exams. Measurement makes learning visible; games and races support consistency.

Who it is for

Students from primary to high school, teachers, parents, exam candidates, and adults who want better typing. Short, regular practice works at any age.

Trust and safety

We keep the experience clear, protect the educational context, and follow applicable legal requirements. Our Privacy Policy and Terms explain data practices and platform rules. Where ads appear, useful content remains the priority.

Contact

For feedback or support, use the teacher registration/login channels and contact options published on the site. Thank you for practicing with Wordper.

Why we built Wordper

Many typing sites offer solo drills but miss classroom reality: teachers cannot choose words, students cannot practice together, and results stay disconnected from lessons. Wordper exists to close that gap for both home learners and full classes.

We also refused to be “only a game” or “only a test.” Measurement, teacher-controlled content, motivation through races/games, and long-form guides belong under one roof.

Our values

  • Measurable progress over vague claims.
  • Education first—content can follow the curriculum.
  • Accessible short sessions for any age.
  • Transparency in privacy and terms.
  • Sustainable habits instead of empty promises.
