What is Wordper?

Wordper is a typing practice platform for school and home use with free typing tests, typing speed tests, and keyboard games where teachers control content and students can practice together or on their own.

Where does the name come from?

The name Wordper comes from WPM, short for Words Per Minute in English. The platform is built around measuring how fast and accurately you type on the keyboard.

What is WPM?

WPM (Words Per Minute) is the standard measure of how many words you type in one minute. In Wordper, your WPM is calculated together with accuracy, speed, and overall performance in individual tests and live sessions.

On most typing sites

  • You cannot run real classroom work; students usually practice alone, disconnected from each other.
  • You cannot compete live with classmates on the same word set.
  • You cannot choose the word list; you are limited to whatever the site provides.

On Wordper

Wordper brings teacher-led classroom practice and individual work together on one platform:

  • Teachers create exercises and add their own words.
  • Students practice with classmates on those words.
  • Content is class-specific and can be tailored to lessons, units, or exams.

Teacher-chosen words

Teachers create exercises and add words that match their lessons, units, or exam topics.

Classroom practice

Students practice together on the same exercise; everyone works with content selected by the teacher.

Individual practice

Practice alone at home or at school, choose word or paragraph mode, and earn a certificate.

Live competition

Teachers start live sessions; students race on the same words in real time with instant results.

Keyboard games

Improve reflexes and keyboard habits with simple games such as Meteor and Maze while having fun.
